Cookie policy
Updated: 31 October 2026
1. What these technologies do
Cookies and storage technologies remember information on your device. Some are needed for security, access and requested functions; others may support preferences, statistics or advertising and must be treated according to their purpose and applicable requirements. This policy distinguishes website resources from external platforms.
2. Identified storage
The cookie notice stores the “Accept” or “Only necessary” choice in gdcn_ok for 180 days. WordPress access and security features may use session or preference cookies if you log in. The table below describes the reviewed functional inventory.
When you save a tour as a favorite, its identifier is placed in the browser’s local storage under ramirez_public_tour_favorites. Unmark favorites or clear site data to remove them. No automatic expiry is set for this preference and it does not create a server booking.
| Technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| gdcn_ok | Remembers your cookie-notice choice. | 180 days |
| WordPress session / access / preference cookies, where applicable | Login, security and account settings. Used where those functions apply. | Session or period configured for the function. |
| ramirez_public_tour_favorites (local storage) | Tour identifiers saved when you choose favorites. | Until you remove favorites or clear browser site data. |
| comment_author_* / comment_author_email_* / comment_author_url_* | Remembers comment form details only if you select the corresponding option. | 30,000,000 seconds (about 347 days); you can delete them earlier. |
| RDECO assistant (server session) | Conversation history, draft and session security when using the assistant. | Up to 2 hours; active browser conversation in page memory. |
3. Statistics and advertising
The main-page review did not detect Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other third-party advertising tags being loaded. Local technical interactions, such as contact clicks and device type, may be recorded without this amounting to an advertising cookie.
If measurement or campaigns using optional storage are introduced, their providers, purposes and durations must be disclosed and the applicable choice respected before activation. The notice’s Accept button does not mean that all such services are currently installed.
4. Third-party resources and links
Google Fonts and jsDelivr libraries may receive your IP address and technical data when downloaded. Loading a technical resource is not by itself permission for advertising. Their providers’ policies explain their processing.
Links to WhatsApp, social networks, Tripadvisor and Google Maps lead to external services. In the reviewed design they are links rather than embedded players or maps. When opened, those sites may apply their own cookies and policies.
5. Choosing, changing or withdrawing preferences
Choose “Only necessary” or “Accept” in the notice. This page’s control deletes only the cookie remembering that choice and reloads the page so you can choose again; it does not delete bookings or other account data.
Your browser can also manage cookies and storage. Deleting or blocking necessary resources may prevent login or remembering preferences. Withdrawing permission does not affect earlier lawful processing or remove records that must legally be retained.
6. Further information
Technical cookie duration depends on the function, session and website or browser settings. The inventory will be reviewed when functions change. For privacy and rights, see Privacy policy or email info@trasladosturisticoramirez.com.
7. Virtual assistant and OpenAI
When you choose to use the AI assistant, the messages you enter, the relevant conversation history, and necessary trip or booking details may be sent from our server to OpenAI to generate responses and use the booking tools. Do not enter card numbers, passwords, identity documents or sensitive information. You can contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp instead.
The native assistant keeps a temporary server session for up to two hours, containing conversation history and a draft request. A fingerprint derived from IP address and browser information helps protect the session and limit abuse. The browser keeps the active conversation in page memory; reloading starts a new conversation. Confirmed booking records, if any, follow the retention rules for bookings above. AI processing may involve international transfers. OpenAI processing is subject to its applicable API data policies. AI responses may be inaccurate; prices, availability, changes and booking status require verification through our systems and team.
